When and Where Do I Get My Produce?
To pick up their produce, CSA members come directly to Goldfinch
Farm or to our pick-up sites in and near Lancaster City.  You choose
one option to be your regular pick-up place and time, but we are
happy to make occasional changes if you give us a day's notice.
You will find the produce displayed much like it would be at a farmers
market.  We're there to explain what, and how much, is in the share for
that week.  You may take up to a specified amount of each item, and
can leave any unwanted items from your share for other members.  
We invite people who pick up at the farm to explore the fields to see
what is growing, and to visit the pick-your-own patch where you can
choose your own flowers for beautiful bouquets, and fresh herbs to
accompany your vegetables.

LOCATIONS AND TIMES:
Goldfinch Farm:  Pick-up times are Tuesdays or Fridays from 2-7 pm or Saturdays from
9-12 in the morning.  The Farm is located a few minutes west of the Susquehanna River,
near Wrightsville and Sam Lewis State Park, in York County.  Take Route 30 west from
Lancaster and cross the Susquehanna.  Take the first exit, to Wrightsville, and turn left off
the exit ramp.  At the first traffic light (at Route 462), go straight through and up Cool Creek
Road, past the golf course and up the hill.  Get in the right-hand lane and turn right at the
crest of the hill toward Sam Lewis State Park.  About a mile and a half beyond the park,
turn left onto Schmuck Road.  Near the bottom of the hill, on the left is Goldfinch Farm.  The
sign is on the white shop building, and the mailbox has goldfinches on it.

Lancaster Friends Meetinghouse:  Pick-up time is Tuesdays only from 3:00-6:00 pm.  To get to the
meetinghouse, travelling west from Lancaster on Columbia Avenue, pass Stonemill Plaza (where Rhubarbs is
located) on your left.  Go down the hill.  Brewster's Ice Cream is on your right and Quiznos sub shop on your left.  
Immediately after Brewster's, turn right onto Tulane Avenue.  The meetinghouse is directly in front of you, about a
block away.  Turn left before the meetinghouse, and make a quick right into the parking lot.

East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church:  Pick-up time is Fridays only from 3:00-6:00.  To get to the church (at
432 East Chestnut Street) beginning at N. Queen or N. Lime, go right onto East Chestnut (which is one way going
east).  Pass Musser Park.  Cross Plum St.  The church is on your right.  Turn right immediately before the church,
and left into the parking lot.

Goldfinch Farm CSA

We invite members who get their shares at the Lancaster site to come to the farm occasionally to pick flowers
and herbs and to see where your food is coming from.  We will regularly update the News page on the web site
with pictures and notes about the current crops and people on the farm, so keep checking back!
